Notes
- Whenever an inside day forms on the daily chart, we can expect the price to expand the following day.
- Michael recommends not to trade the AM session after a large range day.
- If we expect a large range day, the price will likely not want to fill the Opening Range Gap.
- If we pyramid into a long position, all our trade entries must take place in the lower half of a Dealing Range.
- If we pyramid into a short position, all our trade entries must take place in the upper half of a Dealing Range.
- Every Hour Macro starts ten minutes before the end of the hour and ends ten minutes after the start of the new hour (xx:50 to xx:10).
- In high-resistance liquidity run conditions, the price spends more time in the FVGs and tends to fill them completely, while in low-resistance liquidity run conditions, the price quickly abandons them and leaves them unfilled.
- Important session liquidity areas (Draw On Liquidity):
- AM session High and Low.
- Lunch High and Low (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.).
- PM Session High and Low.
- Asia Session High and Low.
- London Session High and Low.
- Michael encourages traders to reduce leverage during uncertain periods, particularly in a market with high volatility (such as during political events or economic announcements).
- We shouldnโt rush to take profits in low-resistance liquidity run conditions. Instead, we should let our position run and manage it carefully.
- Historically, election nights and the days around elections are wild in terms of market moves. The uncertainty surrounding election results can cause extreme price fluctuations.
- During high-volatile periods, the emphasis is on survival in the markets, not on trying to get rich quickly. If we are too aggressive, we risk destroying our account and ending our careers.
- Novice traders should exercise patience and respect the learning process. If theyโre not careful, they may find themselves out of the game before theyโve had the chance to learn and grow as traders.
- If we are bullish, the best Order Blocks and FVGs will be located (or part of them) in the lowest quadrant of the Dealing Range.
- If we are bearish, the best Order Blocks and FVGs will be located (or part of them) in the highest quadrant of the Dealing Range.
