ICT Mentorship Core Content - Month 7 - Short Term Trading - Low Resistance Liquidity Runs [Part 2]

Notes

  • The price can consolidate on one time frame and trend on another at the same time.
  • According to Michael, the four-hour chart is the easiest trading time frame for identifying OSOK setups.
  • If a setup forms around a quadrant level, there is a high probability that we will see the price move in our expected direction to the opposite level.
  • When we look at forming a weekly range, we always keep the concept of the power of three in mind.
  • The quadrant levels act like magnets.
  • If the price is bullish and breaks the quadrant, it will likely reach the next level above.
  • If the price is bearish and breaks the quadrant, it will likely reach the next level below.
  • If we are bullish, we expect the low of the week to form on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
  • If we are bearish, we expect the high of the week to form on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
  • Typically, the weekly range is completed by 30-50% inside the range of Monday to Wednesday. This means if we do not catch the long for a bullish week on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, don’t expect a massive move on Thursday or Friday.
  • Anything less than a 1-hour chart reduces the effectiveness of the One Shot One Kill strategy because what you’re looking for is an impulse price swing to complete the weekly range. So, focus on identifying PD arrays/levels on a four-hour chart and use a one-hour time frame to monitor the market on a day-to-day basis.
